Using this Galileo thermometer is easy. Just place it in the area where you want to measure the temperature. Watch the glass bulbs inside the sealed cylinder. As the temperature changes, the bulbs will rise or fall. To read the temperature, look at the engraved metal discs on the bulbs. If a bulb is floating in the middle, the number on its disc is the current temperature. If there's a gap with some bulbs at the top and some at the bottom, the temperature is between the numbers on the discs of the bulbs on either side of the gap. When it comes to maintenance, keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to prevent damage to the glass and the liquid inside. Also, handle it gently as it's a delicate item. Avoid knocking it against hard surfaces. If it gets dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the outside of the glass cylinder.
