In the Cluedo Liars Edition board game, it's all about bluffing to find the truth. Players use 12 Investigation cards (6 Lie and 6 Truth cards) to solve the mystery of who killed Dr. Black in the mansion. Pick a card, read it out, and convince others you're being honest, even if you're not. If someone suspects a lie, they can hit the Liar Button. Whether the player was lying or telling the truth, an Evidence card is revealed, bringing you closer to solving the case. When you're ready, secretly check the case - file envelope to make an accusation. A correct one wins the game! The set includes a gameboard, 6 character tokens, 6 miniature weapons, 21 evidence cards, 12 investigation cards, 6 reference cards, a case - file envelope, a detective notepad, a die, a liar button, and instructions. Suitable for ages 8 and up, 2 - 6 players. Requires 2x 1.5V AAA Alkaline Batteries (Demo Battery Included).
How to use: First, set up the gameboard and place all the character tokens, miniature weapons, and cards as described in the instructions. Each player gets their turn to pick an Investigation card, read it out, and try to convince others. If someone thinks you're lying, they hit the Liar Button. When you're confident, secretly look at the case - file envelope to make an accusation. If it's correct, you win! Note: Keep the game away from small children as there are small parts. Also, make sure to replace the batteries when they run out. Maintenance: After each game, put all the components back in the box. Wipe the gameboard with a dry cloth if it gets dirty.
