Using the Vex Hook Shot System is easy. First, take out the over 180 VEX Robotics pieces and start building your Hook Shot™. You can refer to the instructions for two alternate builds. Once it's built, you have two ways to operate it. You can turn the hand - crank by hand to wind up the elastic - powered striker arm. This will launch the 8 included balls through the loop system and into the return basket. If you want more power, you can attach a motor kit. When using it, make sure to place it on a flat and stable surface to avoid it tipping over. Keep small pieces away from children under 14 to prevent choking hazards. After each use, you can store the pieces in a box to keep them organized. If any pieces get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a dry cloth.
